Pfeiffer Vacuum+Fab Solutions Presents the MVP 010-3 DC Neo

Pfeiffer Vacuum+Fab Solutions – a member of the global Busch Group – announces the launch of the MVP 010-3 DC Neo, the newest member of its MVP diaphragm vacuum pumps series.

Engineered for efficiency and easy integration, the MVP 010-3 DC Neo delivers high performance in a compact plug&play format. This three-stage, oil-free diaphragm vacuum pump offers a wide operating range for rough vacuum applications, down to an ultimate pressure of 1 hPa (mbar), such as in coating or vacuum distillation processes.

Intelligent features for straightforward process control

Equipped with a frequency-controlled direct current (DC) drive unit, the rotational speed of the MVP 010-3 DC Neo can be adjusted to match the required vacuum level. This feature reduces energy consumption and wear. Additionally, the variable speed drive enables the automatic boost mode, which speeds up startup and evacuation times. As a result, the vacuum pump operates at sound pressure levels below 50 dB(A) and requires minimal maintenance. Its quiet operation makes the MVP 010-3 DC Neo suitable for noise-sensitive environments such as laboratories.

The auto standby mode of the MVP 010-3 DC Neo reduces noise, wear, temperature, and power consumption by lowering the rotational speed of the vacuum pump when full operation is not needed. This helps extend the service life and decrease energy use.

Easy integration into existing systems

Designed for seamless system integration, the MVP 010-3 DC Neo includes an RS-485 interface for connection with turbomolecular vacuum pumps, external power supplies, or control units such as OmniControl. This interface enables easy operation and control over settings like pumping speed. Additionally, Pfeiffer AccessLink accessory ports allow for optional add-ons like a gas-ballast valve, improving water vapor compatibility. The MVP 010-3 DC Neo also serves as a cost-effective backing pump for small turbomolecular vacuum pumps, offering reliable performance at a reasonable cost.

The MVP 010-3 DC Neo diaphragm vacuum pump is suitable for various applications, including laboratories, mass spectrometry systems, electron microscope systems, and X-ray systems. Its compact design and flexibility support the needs of high-precision work environments.
